small vessel ischemia vs demyelonation

I am 43 and have had bad frontal headaches for a few months - went to Dr thinking it was sinus and CT of sinus is normal.  Head hurts all day and nothing OTC will help - all new for me.  MRI came back small vessel ischemia r/o demyleonation.  So I am supposed to go to another Dr.  I still have the headaches.  Could this be MS and are headaches a symptom of MS?   Could it be some low grade tumor?
I rarely had headaches and now they are constant,  Is this related?
I have some blurred vision, poor concentration, and I have lost all interest in life.
Can anyone help me?

I have had both an MRI and CT scan. I get nasty headaches to, only prescribed painkillers help a little bit and they take hours to work on my pain. I have no tumors.I also have no sense of smell or taste for over seven months now. I have been getting headaches for years I used to think it was my blood pressure but, it was not my blood pressure is under control. I have been getting the wrong messages to my brain in the last seven months I have gotten my sense of smell back four times but, only  for 30 seconds and then it's gone. I wish I had answers for you but,I can't find answers for myself! I hope you feel better I know first hand how debiltating these damn headaches are!

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
I would suggest you to get your BP checked. The small vessel ischemic changes can occur due to hypertension, diabetes or atherosclerosis. Stroke can also cause headaches.
Please get yourself screened for risk factors for stroke like high cholesterol, and high BP.
If it were a brain tumor it would have come out in CT scan or MRI.
Hope this helps!
