sons headaches and blackouts

my son couldn't wake up Monday morning, Sunday before he cried because of a headache what can i do

Hi there. You need to consult a pediatrician immediately for evaluation. headaches could be due to lack of sleep, sudden changes in pattern, skipped meals, dehydration, stress, minor head injury, using computer or TV for long time, vision problems, smelling strong odors like perfumes, loud music, caffeine excess, certain infections like ear infections, viral infections like flu or common cold, strep throat, sinus infections etc.  These need to be checked first and ruled out.  The doctor may also want to do an MRI brain to check if there a space occupying lesion causing these. Therapy would include elimination of the causative factor and painkillers if indicated. Hope this helps. Take care.
