Stacey - Thanks.  Being treated by neurologist and pain management doc for spinal stenosis.  Had 3 steroid epidurals and have not have a lot of relief.  Don't know if the spasms are caused by the nerve problems or not.  I do not have any problems voiding but I do notice that when I do, the pain does increase.  Have an appt with neurologist in a week or so, so I guess I will discuss this with him then.  Thanks for your input.

Hi molly, sorry to hear about the stenosis. There are 2 different types of stenosis in the spine, and canal stenosis, if severe can cause bladder or bowel dysfunction. You need to seek medical care to check on your stenosis if you feel it is the cause and that it has worsened.  Good luck to you! Hope you get some help.  Stacey
