Neuro surgeon referral made but not til December. I have had numbness/tingling/burning pain between left shoulder blade and spine off/on last 2 yrs.. now it is a daily thing since about 6 months ago... getting worse. numbness in that area is always there... tingling up spine towards neck comes/goes.. burning comes and goes but stays longer and comes more...
I'm on 600mg neurotin 3 x day for numbness/tingling to legs (thought I had MS for the last 7 yrs.. now docs dont think I do .. very long story).. anyway, my legs are weak... left toes go numb off/on... no bladder/bowel issues.. I take advil every day hoping it would help any inflammation.. had IV solumedrol 1000mg x 3days a month ago for severe pain in legs/weakness/cognitive issues.. it helped those issues but not my back issues. Any help??? I'm wanting to anticipate the appt if surgery is indicated becasue I do have 3 kids ages 10, 8 & 5.. with my 5 yr old having autism and brain damage.. he is physcially fine but everything else he is like a 1 yr old.. so any insight would be great.. THANKS!!!!!!!
Take care
