still having seizures

a little history.i had a pituiyary tumor removed in 06. my neuro insisted that the tumor was causing them. i had a mri in 03 with no sign of anything.it wasent till 04 that the tumor was seen. i have had seizures for about 16 years. my neuro told me to stop taking my dilantin, so i did for 2 mnts.i have grandmal seizures. i had a seizure last nite that lasted 5min and my husband said i was out of it for about 10min.i did start my meds last nite.does me having a seizure prove the tumor wasent the cause? i allways have warning signs but last nite it hit so fast .my family doctor wants me off dilantin. she tells me it has bad side effects.i cant take topimax it built so much pressure in my head and eyes i had to go to the er.im the only family member on both sides that have seizures.after my crainotomy i had one  and got such a bad headache and throwing up, last nite the same headache . will i get bad headaches after my seizures now? thanks for your addvice, brainpain

my husband said the seizure lasted for 5 min about and i was out for about 15min.he said this one was scary my mouth drawed to one side like i was having a stroke. im very sore today.

is it normal to have your face draw to one side during a seizure?
