Good morning. On 5/29/00, I posted a question listing my symptoms. The neuro who responded suggested two (one was
sensoryNumbness and tingling nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity root)things and thought that my
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity conduction test would help determine what was wrong. Well, I had that test and the "needle" test and both came back
normalNormal saline flush. Due to the type of problems I was experiencing (migrating
numbnessNumbness and tingling, migrating burning, and migrating tingling), we had a c-spine test run. It too came back
normalNormal saline flush. I think the only thing we haven't done is blood test and t-spine. I am wondering if we will find the cause of what is wrong. Along with the other symtpoms, I notice my sacroiliac joing pops all the time and sometimes is painful. On occasion, my knee or my big toe feel like they need to pop. I have also had a weird episode with my eyelids when they twitched rapidly at times, but this too, like everything else disappeared. Also, I must mention the weird tingling sensation I get on the top of my head. My neuro suggested FMS or that this was something "I just needed to get my mind off of and it would disappear." However, I am a 30 year old female with a 3 year old child and a husband. We lead very busy lives, and I don't have time to just sit around and dream up weird things! There is something definitely going on. Please help suggest what you think could be causing these problems. I am scared the episode of excrutiating neck pain will return, and I will be home with my child alone and have a difficult time manuevering my head. I read about lyme and it sounded like the symptoms, butI live in an area where lyme is very rare. I am at a loss? Can you please help?
Maybe you could have a Small Fiber Punch Biopsy done to see if you have a small fiber sensory neuropathy at play.
Also you may want to view www.geocities.com/quinolones/ as many describe like symptoms.
As one who HAD fibromyalgia, I strongly recommend that you run--don't walk--to the nearest book store (i.e., Barnes & Noble)and get MAGNET THERAPY, Ron Lawrence, M.D., PH.D and Paul J. Rosch, M.D., F.A.C.P. I no longer have any of the discomfort associaated with this problem. I no longer need 4 Advil every six hours to function. If you would like to discuss, my e-mail:

Tell me more about your magnet treatment. Would be interested in hearing about it.
