superior vermis

mri of brain report as follows.
Impression : Significant atrophy of the superior vermis with mild atrophy of Cerebellar hemispheres.
Findings are most likely due to neuro degeneration.

Patient is suffering from the problem Imbalance & dysarthria that's why doctor suggested MRI OF BRAIN.

can this desease called cerebellar disorder? whether this is cureable ot not?

please try to give answer asap in details.
