suspected neurological disorder

i am very concerned about a neurological condition i might have.
about 7 months ago i overdosed on some pot which the doctor was
sure was laced with some other unidentified drug because of the
severity of the reaction it had. about two days later i came down
with a stomach virus which somehow initiated a withdrawel. the doctor said it was because of the massive amount of the drug in
my body. for about a week i suffered dizziness, extreme fatigue,
and a severely depressed and detached mental state. this went away and i returned to relatively normal for a week or two.

then i noticed an involuntary twitch in my right thumb. then
one in my chest muscle. and later in various other places. this
has occured off and on ever since. for about 2 months the
depression returned off and on and i had very little appetite
or sex drive. this eventually went away. later i started having
these episodes where i suddenly start to have a nervous trembling
like when it's cold and you're shivering, but not too severe.
within the last couple of months i've been noticing mild muscle
soreness occasionally and an occasional aching pain in my left foot. and one more very important note; i've had a low tolerance
to medications ever since.

on the bright side i havent noticed any change in my mental
ability and sharpness. and i haven't noticed any decrease in
actual physical strength and condition, aside from feeling very
fatigued much of the time. any suggestions as to what this might
be would be greatly appreciated.

I would be very doubtful if these symptoms add up to a single identifiable neurological syndrome.
Isolated muscle twitches are called fasiculations and have no significance unless the occurr in the context of rapidly progressive weakness and wasting of muscles, which is obviously not the issue in your case.
Fleeting muscle pains and soreness are not a significant symptom in this context either.
Overall I think you may well have some depression with a component of anxiety related to this very frightening exposure, however nothing you describe points to a severe neurological disorder and I think this should resolve spontaneously with time.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 5 years ago.  The doctor ordered 125 mg. of orudis to be taken 3x's a day - 1 every 8 hours.  This relieved the pain and allowed me to function in a fairly normal way.  Three years ago I had dizzy spells and a numbness in the back half of my head.  A doctor prescribed Dilatin.  This did not relieve the numbness.  I am now taking just one dose of orudis (75mg) per day.  The numbness has persisted.  It appears the fibromyalgia is in remission, but I cannot go a day without the orudis.  I have not seen a neurologist, but did have an MRI of the brain and left eye socket in 1990.  Do you have any clues as to why I am experiencing the numbness?
