its me wangchen. i have suffered with speech problem which i cannot coutch the rite pronounsation.it has since couple of year. i am really dissapointed with this problem. plz help me

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

Speech problems are many including dysarthria (disorder of articulation), apraxia (disorder of motor programming of speech), stuttering, aphasia, etc.

Dysarthria may be from weakness of speech muscles and resultant difficulties with various aspects of speech. There may be difficulty with consonant sounds.

There are subgroups of dysarthria. Speech therapy would be beneficial in the workup and treatment.

Regarding stuttering: a patient may have hesitancy with producing sounds and will repeat them. The treatment of this multifactorial including medications such as atypical antipsychotics and also speech therapy.

I recommend that you follow up with your PCP. You may need a referral to speech therapy.
