tension headaches

by Meggan1952, Feb 03, 2009 11:02AM
My wife has been suffering with a chronic tension headache for 14 days now.  She was in the hospital for 6 days.  She had three mri's, ct scan, and spinal tap and all were normal.  She says the pain level is an 8 out of 10.  She has had the depacote and magnesium as well as several other iv meds.  We went to a acupuncurist and a chiropractor yesterday and she woke up this morning and said the headache felt worse.  She had a neck and back massage the day before.  She is on elevil (anatriptalene) now for about 8 days.  The doctors seem to think that pill will work in three to five weeks.  I hope so.  Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
