thoracic spine

Sir
I am having pain in the spine (in thoracic region) only with movements.i dont have pain while sitting straight or when standing. The pain started before six months and it is unbearable now.I am also experiencing problems in my two shoulders, collar bones and middle part of chest.sometimes pain radiating to these portions too.I am afraid of some serious problems in spine,as the nerves to these portions are originating from thoracic region of spine.but i dont have numbness in hands.the pain in other regions feels like coming and going.i didnt take any xrays or scan of thoracic part.but i had an MRI of lumbar part as i have numbness in two fingers of left leg.The MRI of lumbar part appears normal. What may be the problem. Can you suggest any?

Hi.

It is unfortunate that an MRI of the cervical and thoracic area was not performed as based on your clinical presentation, there exists the possibility that your symptoms are related to a spine condition at those areas.  A nerve impingement or disk herniation could present with some of your symptoms.

It would be advisable for you to consult a neurologist to assess your current symptoms and possibly perform an MRI of the cervical and thoracic spine.
