thorasic pain after spinal fusion T10-S1

I've had spinal sx x5 the last one opened  from back and front-5 days apart hardware all the way down- tail bone removed with 3rd sx.  since the last sx I've had to sleep sitting up- if I accidentally fall over and end up sleeping lying down- wake up with severe pain thorasic area that radiates thru ribs severe pain just to inhale;  cannot move cannot get up pain so severe ;  someone has to pull me up ; takes a long time for pain to subside  -with pain meds- also have mod-severe arthritis cervical area of spine- just had MRI yesterday; results not known- what might be causing this radiating thorasic pain with lying down?  Needless to say I have sleep deprivation- take meds lyrica requip-this week got rx for  mirapex RLS x 12-13 yrs- ambien and lisenopril  -can sleep sitting up for 2-3 hrs then I'm totally awake- last sx 3/2008.  Cannot deal with this much more, please advise Donna
