Hi,

Hope you are feeling better.
This could be a symptom of anxiety or stress. Other possibilities can be carpal tunnel syndrome which occurs due to compression of median nerve at the wrist joint. Rhythmic back and forth motion of the thumb and forefinger is seen in parkinsons disease. It is called as a pin rolling tremor. It is difficult to tell without looking. Please get yourself evaluated by your PCP.
