Found some relief to my problem. I had gotten a severe cold so I started taking some sinus pills to relieve my runny nose and it also stopped the thumping sound for most of the day.SO lately I been taking sinus pills everyday and it relieves the thumping sound in my head and ears.

Sounds like either tinnitus or that you are being very sensitive to your body and hearing your own heartbeat. Many people hear their heartbeats when they are in tune with their own body.
