tingling n numbness

i am a female aged 28 yrs, i recently had a caesarean done 5 months back, recently since 4-5 days i have developed tingling and numbness in my right leg which starts paining, this happens whenever i take my 5 months old baby on my lap , please suggest me something urgently, i am worried about it, i am 165 cms in ht and 76 kgs by wt.

You need to be seen by a doctor to evaluate the numbness. Possible lower back / lumbar spine problems. Not uncommen, I imagine after pregnancy.

Hi there. You need to consult a neurologist for investigating lumbar disc degeneration or prolapsed, sciatica or meralgia paresthetica.   You would be required to get an MRI spine, NCV or nerve conduction velocity test and EMG or electromyogram to check the integrity of these nerves. Management would include NSAIDS, hot fomentation, massage, exercises and physiotherapy, epidural injection of steroids, cervical collar and lastly surgical decompression depending on the diagnosis and degree of damage.
