why do i feel tingling around the down of my head? its a weird tingling pain when i feel a bit frightened

Without the ability to examine you and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of your symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

If you just have transient tingling when you are frightened, it is probably nothing to worry about. Sometimes people can get transient neurological symptoms with stress or anxiety or when they are concentrating, with out any underlying cause,and the symptoms are self resolving.

Transient sensory symptoms can be seen with migraines, seizures or Transient ischemic attacks (mini strokes), the last two being much much less likely. If you do not have any other neurological symptoms like a headache, neck pain, vision changes, tingling anywhere else, it is less likely to be a neurological cause.

More commonly Vitamin deficiencies like B 12 , Vitamin D deficiency or thyroid problems can cause non specific sensory symptoms, but again if you have no other symptoms, these causes would be less likely. If the symptoms start persisting or spread, I would suggest that you consult with your primary care physician.
