tingling pain in bottom of foot.

In the middle of the night I jumped out of bed because of a sharp
tingling/pain in the bottom of my left heel. Pressing the heel on the
floor relieved the pain. It continued periodically, every 20 minutes
or so. I am 78, in generally good health, exercise regularly, take
lipator and various vitamins.

Hello.

Do you have diabetes? Though the pain of diabetic neuropathy does not manifest like your pain, it is still a possibility.

Also, get your lower back checked for any disc protrusions. Do you take vitamins for any specific indication?
