tinnitus

Posted By Lynn on May 25, 1998 at 10:13:36:

My father, 74 years old, has had tinnitus since he was a pilot in WWII when they used the pilots as radiation test dummies.  The army would use small cannisters, being placed up the nose of the pilots, as they flew.
We tried to contact the V.A. and they just laughed at my Dad, telling him they could not do anything for him.  Dad is pretty healthy, and just underwent a Quadruple by-pass on a Friday and going home on a Tuesday.  The tinnitus is something he has learned to live with but would like to alleviate.  Any suggestions?
