too much yeast in body

For the past few years (probably many yrs) I have gone from dr to dr xomplaining o fatique, migraines, sleeplissness, body aching and it has gotten to a point that my quality of life is less than I want it to be at 62 yrs old.  My brain keeps trying to tell me that it's either all in my head or  I'm just getting old - which TODAY I do not believe (may tomorrow)  I take
DEPRESSION;  300 mg Zoloft a day, (for at least 5 yrs probably much longer);
THYROID:  .150 mg Synthroid; since 1970)
CHOLESTEROL:: Vytorin
MIGRAINES:  (since 1975)  Imitrex, Maxalt, .50 Topomax (topamax) am and pm
BLOOD PRESSURE: Avapro
GERD:  Nexium 2x daily
RESTLESS LEGS:  Requip.5 mg 2-3 at bed time   and  1 Mobic

This seams like a lot of medication - I hope you can help me.  My main question would my medications be contributing to all my aches and ails

Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with a doctor.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

It is quite possible that your medications are contributing to your symptoms, but it is also possible that the diagnoses you have are causing your symptoms.

Thyroid disorders can cause fatigue and other symptoms. A routine TSH would be recommended to ensure that your medication is appropriate. Depression is notorious for exacerbating headaches, body aches, sleeplessness, etc. If the zoloft is not working for you, it may be necessary to try another medication. There are many medications out there, and a psychiatrist would be the physician to help you decide on this.

The avapro can cause fatigue. The vytorin can cause muscle pains and exacerbate headaches as well.

In summary, I would suggest that you address your underlying depression and optimize the antidepressant. I would recommend that you follow up with a psychiatrist to assist you with this. Also, I would recommend that you have your thyroid checked if it hasn’t been done in the past several months to year.

Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.
