I was put on topomax for complex migranes about 7 months ago and they put me on 100 mg 50mg in the morning and 50mg at night and friday of last week they upped my dose to 200 mg because my migranes were getting worse. Today all of a sudden I am itching everywhere and its been a constant thing all day and it wont stop ! no rashes though weird but I am wondering if its the meds. But I am also on lamictal as well so is anyone else having these problems ?

  Lamictal has the potential as an adverse side effect to cause an allergic reaction that can be dangerous that starts with a rash called Steven's Johnson Syndrome. Sometimes other medications can interact with it and potentially increase that concern. It would be essential to speak to your doctor so they can be sure that its not this concern. Skin rashes can occur from some medications that are not of concern but your physician who prescribed the medications needs to rule this out. Then they can decide what to do next within their clinical discretion.

Topamax did that to me also, toner.  Unfortunately, I quit a decent job because my mind was so revved up and paranoid.

try zonisamide  slowly go up to 300 mg have your doctor try you on that it worked for mine, Topomax just made me anger and paranode
