tourettes in brain damaged child
I have a 9 year old boy that has brain damage (trainable) from bith.  There are several medical factors involving him but he was very premature.  He is a foster child so we have access to very little family history.  He has recently been diagnosed as having Tourettes.  From what I see online some of his inappropriate behavior he can control.  We don't know if he is self aware enough to feel these symptoms building up.  Any suggestions on how to help him or where we would go for specific help?  He has an excellent doctor that took his time to come to this diagnosis and we are confident that he got it right.
