transverse myelitis anyone?

has any one been in a car accident or any trauma to the spine and the doctor saying you have transverse myelitis? if so please let me know so we can exchange stories:) i was dx feb 2007,
spine > (T6 T7 T8 T9 )

To my knowledge TM is caused by a lesion in the spinal cord, usually thoracic.  It can occur after an infection or unknown causes.  A spinal cord problem after an accident would be a spinal cord injury, not TM.  Just my opinion.

Don't know if you check this place anymore...but I was diagnosed with it in August 2008...along with syringomyelia and tested positive for MS
