Rehabilitation in any head injury patient is focused on the symptoms resulting from the injury.  If the neurons controlling motor functions of the limbs are affected, then exercises can be directed in strengthening of the extremities and maintaining adequate function.

Frontal lobe impacts may cause speech disturbances as well as mood disorders.  Rehabilitation should be focused in these aspects.

More often, those with closed head injury just suffer a concussion and do not have any lasting symptoms.  Rehabilitation has limited value in these patients.

Regards.
