treatment of grade 3 anaplastic astrocytoma with avastin

My wife, age 42 diagnosed with inoperable grade 3 , 4 and one-half cm. right thalamic anaplastic astrocytoma 12/17/09 . She has received 1 month radiation and daily temodar, followed by a planned temodar program of 5 days every 28. After one month, symptoms worsened, mri showed increase in tumor size, 6 and one-half cm. Now, avastin has been started every 3 weeks and continued temodar 1 week on, 1 week off. What should I expect in regard to side effects,realistic prognosis and treatments in the future.
