tumor not removed yet

by davializius, Jun 17, 2008 12:01PM
im worried that i have a tumor for which i was told, i went in for a physical two to three months ago and i was told that i had a tumor and they did all their tests to make sure everything was right. happens to appear that what causes my symptoms and produces milk was from the tumor controlling my body system. im scared that i was told i can not get pregnant with this tumor because its acting like the birth control in me, my husband and i have been trying for over a year now and still not pregnant but good to know that it isnt us is just this tumor in my head, and ever since then i was told to go to a specialist and we did, he said he was going to call us back for another MRI which is weird, why cant the first one be the right one? this stuff are expensive and i dont know how to deal with it. from that day on we havnt heard from the specialist up to now, not even my own doctor. i dont wanna live like this forever and especially no move about it. im scared and i wanna have a  baby but i was told i cant have one till i have this tumor removed. will you please help me here? how is it going to be removed if the doctors arent doing their job? please help i wanna move on with my life have things worked out have a family of my own but its never gonna happen anytime sooner cuz nobody cares. i need help and please help me.... thanks..

Hi.

I'm not sure I understood you right. Did your MRI show you have a tumor? Where?

You need to be proactive in your care. Demand from your doctors that they give you the answers you seek, or go to another doctor! If you have a tumor, do you know what kind? It sounds like you have a pituitary tumor, but you need to go to an endocrinologist, you need to find a surgeon who specializes in the type of tumor you have. You need to take your life into your own hands. Time's a wasting and it's not going to slow down anytime soon, especially if you and your husband want to get pregnant. Please, please go back to your doctor and demand answers. Good luck!
