twitching and cramps

by Bart1, Jun 08, 2009 02:14PM
Hi,

I want to add something to my situation
Male - 30 years , twitching non stop calves for 19.5 months + random every couple of minutes
--> 2 emg's in the first 2 months of twitching: clean except fascics . Diagnose BCFS by 2 neuro's (1 professor MND)

1. clinical Oct 07 + EMG
2. clinical Dec 07 + EMG (by professor)
3. Clinical Sept 08  (I asked the clinical)
4  Clinical March 09 (I asked the clinical)

But now I started to get CRAMPS, not mild but really bad cramps in my right hand. So here I am, starting to worry again about the possibility of ALS

Could this be?
Help me please,

Bart

You should not go with self diagnosis as ALS has many other varied symptoms other than cramps.
As you are having Benign Cramp Fasciculation Syndrome you should go for the treatment line of your neurologist. You already had a second opinion on this. Follow up near your neurologist. Take care
