My mom has been having pain in her arms since 2000. It all started in 2000 when one of her arms went totally numb and she couldn't move it at all until she got physical therapy and regained movement in it. Then, over the course of the next year, the other arm started to have a lot of pain. She is at the point now where she can hardly sleep because of the pain and the pain hardly ever lightens up. She has gone to plenty of doctors who have no idea what is the problem but have diagnosed it as rheumetoid arthritis. She really doesn't think this is the problem because it's not just her joints that hurt but also the rest of both her arms. She is also getting these bumbs all over her arms that are just under the skin but feel sort of hard and are usually on the inside part of her arms. This pain also continues up into her neckCervical spondylosis Head and neck glands Herpes zoster (shingles) on the neck and cheek Irritated seborrheic kerotosis - neck Lymph tissue in the head and neck. Melanoma - neck Neck lump Neck pain Neck pulse Neck x-ray Oral cancer. It's been a tough struggle with this pain and no doctor seems to have a legitimate answer or any real proof. She thinks that she should go to a nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity doctor but isn't really sure who would be able to help her or what test could figure out what is wrong. Any suggestions?
