unusual pain

I work out with 2lb weights in a class, and experience some aches after class, but recent pain in the base of the skull a severe pain resulted, so went to a doctor and they gave me a shot, and recommended naproxen. Some dizziness accompanied it. I take medication for blood pressure, cholesteral and circulation. I worry about serious problems.
