My husband had been diagnosed with 4.2-cm schwannoma on the left in Oct, 2004. He has undergone Gamma Knife therapy where only 1/2 of the tumor was treated. Then in 06/30/2006 he underwent removal of about 80% of the tumor. About two weeks ago, after taking a long nap, he felt that his left faceFace pain was tingling. (He had BellBell's palsy's palsyBell's palsy Cerebral palsy Cerebral palsy - resources Parkinson’s disease on this side from the Gamma Knife. Now last Sunday, during church, he became hot and clammy and we had to leave. As we were getting to the car, he passed out on the pavement. Three men helped me get him in the car and I took him to the small hospital here in town where they initially thought he might be having heart problems. He has subsequently had a echocardiogram and we are still awaiting the results of that. Could this possibly be the tumor pressing on a nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity causing him to feel this way. Ever since he had the Gamma Knife treatment, he has had "spells" of feeling a change in his headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury and has become anxious. I have a c6 c7 schwannoma causing dizziness, radiculapathy all the way down to my foot. Headache,my vision is off at times, my seizures are increased. (Petit mal) I'm worried about this diagnosis and it mortality rate? Haven't seen the surgeon yet. Thats soon to come.
