what do the white spots mean on my brain

I have had bells palsy 2 times, one in each side. Had one spot on brain. Had a car accident 2 months later (rearended) so been seeing a neuro doc ever since. He thought i was showing signs of MS so he had a MRI done. this time I have several white spots. I have had the eeg, visual evoked potentials and they came back normal. I had a third MRI on brain and one of the cervical. I have 10 spots. 3 are in an area of the brain that make you think MS, the other 7 are not. SO now he is thinking other things. I had blood work today for Lupos, and having my thryoid checked because there are 2 cist on the thyroid now. I am not really concerned about that, it is the white spots that I am freaking out over. Do we all have white spots? Is this a problem? My boyfriend is a DOC and he says it is not normal to have the spots. is this true? what does this all mean? I have been thinking the last few weeks of other symptoms I have  had in my life, especially lately. Bottom of feet get numb when I am sitting at times. My hands and arms get numbe all the time. I am very tired and my muscles are fatigued very easily. I am so frustrated over this. I want to know now what this all means. I also get virtigo, light headed, feel hungry all the time, even after I eat. I get shaky when I am hungry and feel like i am going to throw up. Today while I was in his office, my leg had pins and needles in it. My muscles twitch at times, and my legs get cramps and are sore alot. Now, all of these things can be ANYTHING, low grade depression, jsut everyday life. Or, does it go with the white spots and something is going on? is my doctor just being an alarmnest? Can any one give me any ideas? Thank  you Dia

Please know that these white spots can be from Tick Borne diseases even where tests came back negative for them. The tests are not at all reliable, especially Elisa, but even the better Western Blot. Lyme is a spirochete in the blood. They can only 'see' parts of the elongated shape and so they count "band" widths. The CDC standards should have been adjusted to represent latest research but that has been a big battle. Insurers do not want to see Lyme and other tick borne diseases as the epidemic that it is. They would have to pay for long term treatment. See reports by Doctors like Sam Donta of MA and UCONN or Stephen E. Phillips of Wilton, CT. ~I too have the white spots on MRI and am being evaluated further but have a known diagnosis of Lyme. The other possibilities seem to be related to ticks, and or, to Bartonella.

my father had 2 CT scans done by 2 different ER doctors, both these doctors recommend and MRI. Unfortunately my father is a United States Veteran with 100% disablility, his primary doctor refuses to order an MRI for further evaluation. Can anyone help point me in the right direction. All we would like to do is find out what the problem is so we as a family can help.
