lack of sleep.
After doing complete blood test , she found
High Prolactin level (24) range 3-18

Low testosterone level 315 (350-1030)

She asked me to do MRI and found that i have Pituitary Microadenoma .
I am really in deep stress , can some one give me some more details , this internet driving me nuts .
My doctor asked me to take Bromocriptine 2.5mg in the night .
Is my thyroid responsible for that ?. My thyroid is because of hashi (+ve Ab TPO).
What could cause this ?
Hi,
A microadenoma is usually a benign tumor. There's macro and micro - adenomas, the size depends on where it falls. From what I've read they don't know what causese them but 1 in 5 people have them. I would imagine that you will be referred to an endocrinolgist, hopefully one who specializes in pituitary tumors. I was recently diagnosed with a microadenoma at 5mm and am on a wait and see program. After my initial mri they had me go in again for another one to focus on the pituitary. They then sent me to a endocrinologist who did some blood work to see if my hormones were affected.
I hope you find out all the answers you need.
