what to expect

by richardpatrick, Jan 17, 2009 03:36PM
i am a 55 yo male and have a ruptured disc between L4 and L5 that puts pressure on the root nerve and cause's severe pain in lower back, buttocks and leg. i have had an mri and a series of 3 epidural injections. The shots seemed to help greatly until i returned to work and then within 1 week i was back to the same place. i have had pt which seems to not help at all and now trying a chiropractor. my hope is not to have to do surgery and will go thru the pain of any procedure if the results bring permanent relief.. do you have any suggestions that you know might be best results for this condition. thank you
