I was diagnoised in 99 with IHT. In 2004 I had my first lp shunt done, in 2005 had to revise it. and 2008 had to do a complete replacement. Now I am back to the blurry vision and headaches, what can I do now?
I'm not a doctor but I do have teo shunts since 96.
#1 And still gets a kinda spacy look on his face. but i know its only been a short time sence his operation. one of my main questions is sometimes his shunt gets really big on his head. is this suposto happen?
If you see unusual changes in husband it wouldn't hurt to contact your doctor. Also tell dr your concern about the shunt changing size.
#2 and will you always be able to see it?
Yep you will always be able to see it if hair is short,
#3 Also he use to ride a harley... he is very eager to ride again, will it be safe for his to put a helmet on his head?
Helmets are to protect your head so I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be safe.
