Hi there. Whiplash injury occurs in motor vehicle accidents, sports, fall etc. Symptoms are neck pain, neck swelling, tenderness along the back of neck, muscle spasms, difficulty moving your neck around, headache, shooting pain from neck to shoulder or arm.  You need to report to the emergency if you develop pain in either or both the arms, shoulder pain, headache, dizziness, weakness, tingling or loss of function in the arms or legs.  You need to consult your neurologist for further evaluation and confirmation of facts. Take care.
