why do i smell fried eggs

recently i have development an unusual thing, i smell fried eggs, it can be anywhere, its not near any kitchens....am i going mad or is this a symtom of something? anyone out there have the same???

I have never smelled fried eggs unless I was cooking them. I did have migraine headaches for 25 yrs and when I had the "opthalmic" ones with colored lights and funky patterns the come before the headache, I also smelled odor of coffee. There are a few other diagnoses that have smells as part of their diagnosis. Do a Google search of "odd smells and diseases"; that should give you plenty to read. Good luck.
