why does it feel like i have glass running though my vains on both sides of my neck?

it only happens every once and a wile, but it feels like glass scraping through my vain's on both sides of my neck n sometimes it will also run from my ears to my jaw. Has anyone else felt this? should i be worried? I have neuropathy  caused by type 2 diabetes and sometimes i have really weird sensations on my skin and muscles. does anyone know if this could be yet another symptom of neuropathy?

Yes, an abnormal sensation felt along the course of a nerve is due to neuropathy. It can be diabetes elated in your case. It could also be a pinched spinal nerve in the neck due to wrong posture or working too long on computers etc. You need to keep diabetes under strict control. Also, you can take vitamin B 12 and a multivitamin. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
