worried about Fasciculations and muscle weakness

by coasterdude5, Jul 04, 2009 07:00PM
This may come quite odd, but I am healthy and 15 years old, and I've had some odd fasciculations the past 3 - 4 days and muscle weakness in my upper and lower legs, and a little in the arms as well. I began running about 3 - 4 miles daily 4 weeks ago, and had no problem. Now i feel weaknesses in my legs, especially the left leg. I also had fatigue the last 2 weeks or so. I also have and had back pain accompanying the fatigue. Now, recently the Fasciculations have added atop all of the weakness and fatigue.
Could this be a sign of a neuromuscular disorder such as ALS or GBS? Which one or if not, what could be causing this?
