Hi,
Thanks for the update. How was the CT scan result? I agree with you that letting you go home after the test suggests that there is nothing to be worried about. Discuss the result with your attending physician or ENT for proper evaluation. Take care and hope all is well. Do keep us posted with the result.
Hello,
I had a CT scan of brain and inner ear yesterday without contrast. I'm not confident that they will find anything based on all the other posts I've been reading. The Anisocoria is intermittent still and I feel slightly dizzy still. The headaches are confined to a dull aching on the side that I have hearing loss as well as stiff neck on that side. I'm kind of all over the map I suppose. Hopefully I get the results soon. I assume if it was life threatening they wouldn't have let me leave.
Hi,
How are you? Were you able to have the CT scan done? Anisocoria or unequal pupil size may be attributed to a variety of issues and warrants further evaluation. This includes aneurysm, brain tumor or abscess, excess pressure in one eye caused by glaucoma, increased intracranial pressure, infection, seizure, as well as migraine headache. To determine the underlying cause, complete physical examination as well as imaging studies such as CT scan may need to be done. Take care and do keep us posted with the MRI result. Best regards.
