Arachnoid Cyst treatment with Diamox Sequels?

I'm a 26 y/o female with 6 years of symptoms. I have a large arachnoid cyst on the posterior midline of the posterior fossa. I also have a small right frontal venous angioma (normal variant of venous drainage). The cyst is not touching the skull, however it is very very close to it.

I feel chronically spacey/lightheaded. These symptoms become severe when I'm in room with lights on, computer, or anything that is severely stimulating.
If I'm in these situations for a prolonged time, I can get a vertigo attack or just very dizzy. My eyes feel like they aren't seeing clearly - hard to explain, my eyes might burn and feel tired too. I don't feel like I'm in reality. I was first diagnosed with anxiety/depression, but medications and psychotherapy did not help at all. That's when I was referred to an ENT for an MRI of the inner ear. ENT cleared me for any problems in that department, but was referred to a Neurologist and Neurosurgeon for the arachnoid cyst. 1 doctor didnt want to touch the cyst, another one said it's a 50/50 shot of causing my symptoms. I don't want to undergo surgery for no reason. A second MRI a year later showed the cyst has not grown.

A neurologist put me on Imitrex but after one pill I stopped because it made me feel severely weak and drowsy (already my chronic symptoms, but made it much much worse).
He now wants me to try Diamox Sequels 500mg 2x daily. I'm scared of the side effects. What's the point of this pill? If I feel better, do I assume the cyst is causing my symptoms? I see online that it's used for glaucoma, is that for the eye symptoms I have? Should I get the cyst removed if I feel better on Diamox?

hello, if you want to have symptoms-free life you should decrease the pressure inside the cyst, not remove it totally. so diamox can help. Please try it. If no relief of symptoms go for a cysto-peritoneal shunt with a low pressure valve.
