Cannabis, hippocampus and treatment

I think I may have some long lasting impairments caused by smoking Cannabis as a teenager. From the research I've done I think the root of the problem may be the hippocampus, as this is the main area of the brain affected by THC. I get crushing sensations in my head as well that correspond to the hipocampi location. A few studies have shown that anti-depressants can have a positive effect on this area of the brain, I was just wondering if this is true, and if so which drugs have shown the most promise?

Paroxetine starting dose 10 mg
increase every 1 week by 10
stop on that minimal effective dose.
for example if 30 mg daily was enough to remove the crushing symptom, you stay on that dose for 2 years.
pay attention:
1- it cam cause a slight somnolence, so then you can take it evening
2- never try to stop it abruptly, there is a progressive way during 2 months to stop it decreasing the dose every month
3- dont drink alcohol, it may be not appropriate

I know someone who had a similar problem. He had headaches instead of a "crushing" sensation, that was from smoking way too much weed. He ended up seeing a psychiatrist who did indeed put him on a antidepressant. I'm sorry I don't know which one it is exactly. He did stop smoking the weed. His headaches are gone. He isn't sure if it's from stopping the weed, the medicine, or a combination of both though!
