Cervical Dystonia help

by willow542000, May 27, 2009 11:22AM
My Neurologist has been giving me Botox shots now every 4 months for about 2 years which help a great deal. I just got the shots about a month ago. My neck began already bothering me again.

I asked my PCP if I could try Zanaflex as I have Fibro also and thought it may help my neck as well. I use Bio Freeze and the Zanaflex and it really seems to be helping the pulling to the right of my neck.

Is it be possible to help Cervical Dystonia with a muscle relaxer?  Thanks, Willow

Why not you can use Zanaflex, but I am not too convinced that it could help you as much as Botox, anyways let me know about your decision and again Why not you can use it

Hi, well I've found that the Zanaflex or Flexerill both seem to irrate my Peptic Ulcer, so they are out. I guess I'll just rely on the Botox and bio freeze. Thanks for your answer. Willow
