Diagnostic Question NF1

I have a question about the diagnostic criteria for NF1. My daughter has 6 cafe au lait spots along with freckling between her legs. We were told by a geneticist that the freckling was not NF freckling because it was not in the groin area but lower between her legs and down the very top inside of her thighs. I am questing this now because my daughter has recently been diagnosed with mild scoliosis. So my question, would freckling between the legs be considered a criteria for NF1? thank you for your question but it is not evident to think about NF1 without previous genetic predisposition. Please send me some of the photos of both cafe au lait spots and freckling
