Inner Carotid Stenosis

by birdie92, Mar 21, 2009 03:36PM
Diagnosed with  R Inner carotid Stenosis 50-69%, although other tests suggest less stenosis. EEG shows evidence of TIA. Will have MRA soon to try to conferm amount of stenosis.

Question:   When I turn head to look to right almost any length of time, lose some sight, get a little dizzy, (sometimes faint). Are these tests with these clinical symptoms enough for me to consider the recommended carotid endarcarectomy?

Endaterectomy is advised in each person having similar to you symptoms
