Relation between Thoracic Outlet Syndrom(syndrome) and Artificial Cervical Disc Replacement

Back in 2005, I was diagnosed with Degenerative disc disease and underwent Cervical disc replacement using artificial discs.  It was not FDA approved, and I entered into a study.  (I had multi-levels done when the study only allowed for approval of one level, but I did not learn about that until afterwards).  My symptoms never went away after surgery, in fact, I developed new ones, such as a pain at the base of my skull that is constant, severe migraines, and over time, the cold, achey (achy), tingly sensation that I only felt on my right side, has migrated now to the left side of my body, and now includes my legs, which it did not before.  I went to the doctor two days ago and because when I simply raise my arms, I lose my pulse, they diagnosed me with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.  No further testing has been done to support this diagnosis, and based on what I've read, I'm concerned something else could be wrong related to the discs I had replaced.    Both my neurologist and primary care physician are content with the new diagnosis.  I am not. What should be my next step?  I had a hard time trusting doctors after my surgery outcome, but the pain/numbness got to the point where it caused enough concern for me to go back.  I can't remain this way.  Please help.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not conviced by the diagnosis, I am rather more sure that you will benefit from any of the anxiolytics.
