leg problem

i am 21 years old boy.before 10 years i fall from staircase and highly injured my left knee.but now left leg is slightly smaller than right leg(length equql).why it happend.

In your case if you mean by SMALLER: thinner, that could be just an illusion, where we know that we always present a dominance of one limb... but if Smaller means shorter, that means that the growth plate was partially damaged by the compressing trauma.
