osteoma

Iam 32 years old, I found out yesterday that I have benign osteoma arising frm the outer table of the right parietal skull which is 2.7cmx2.1cmx7cm.  And my Gp told me to consult with neurosurgeon and i probably need surgery.

My Question is do I really need surgery to get it remove osteoma Asap or can I wait for few months or can it be cured with some medicines?  I get lot of headaches oftenly and feel dizzy sometimes as well.  If i have to go under surgery do I have to shave my hair.  Sorry iam bit concerned about my hair.

Thankyou
Naseema.

Naseema, heeere I am smiyyek :)
dont worry, you can wait for the cranioplasty many months and then control it with an x-ray. you can try to treat it without surgery with the application of cream of steroidal nature [cortison cream] once daily for 4 weeks, and never touching, pressing or continuousely testing by hand.
