pituitary tumor removal that is on optic nerve

I have a prolactin secreting pituitary tumor that is 2 cm and just got 2mm bigger. they said its not responding to meds so i have to have sergery (surgery)  next week. i am scared that i might wake up with vision loss.? what are the chances?

sorry for the late answer, I suspect you already did the surgery!
For a general answer, the percentage of loss of vision in such surgery is theorically wery low and you might wait for a dostinex response during the next 3 months, otherwise surgery is always an option
