New Treatment Showing Promise on Fragile-X Syndrome (Common Cause of Developmental Disabilities) in Clinical Study

This is one of the first treatments to be able to treat Fragile X syndrome, a common cause of developmental disabilities. It is in the early stages of clinical study and works on the genetic level.

That's cool that another group of people with a disorder have treatment options now instead of just nothing aside from therapy.  It's also cool that it treats the underlying cause of the disorder if I am understanding correctly.
