For people who have treatment refractory depression and are being considered as a candidate for ECT they could inform their provider about this option as well.
I also know its in the early stages of research for tardive dyskinesia so once it makes it through the studies I will most probably undergo it at that point depending on what my neurologist states but they are interested in the idea but need to see further research in this area.
