Chrissy Matthews up to it again

Today, thanks to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, it took less than five minutes for the comparison to be drawn between President Obama’s second inaugural address and, well, all manner of things Lincoln. “It reminds me of another second inaugural, Lincoln’s, so much of Lincoln in that speech, from the Gettysburg Address to the second inaugural itself,” Matthews said. “He talked about the government that we want, which is infrastructure, education, regulation, all the good things, and then recognizing that government can’t solve all the problems.”

Hey, credit where credit’s due. The president did refer to “blood drawn by the lash and blood drawn by the sword”; his remarks were concise, much like the Gettysburg Address; and this was a second inaugural . . . just like Lincoln’s second inaugural. Lincolnian, indeed.

We all differ dont we... I thought it was him showing his true colors.it was very much in my opinion, him being extremely liberal and speaking about what is coming this next 3 years  ...I didnt watch it I saw it today online

Hey, the speech was fine.  I have no problems with it.  It was a far cry from what we heard in the past.

I'm not a fan of Chris Matthews and never have been.  I did like Obama's speech though and didn't find it "left wing"  (still looking for wings on all these people.).

Chris Matthews.... the guy and his career are abysmal.  (Wasn't it a "shiver down his leg?)  I love it when  he goes so far left that even they question him.  There is only one other commentator from that side that I despise... Olbermann.  Thank God they found a whole to stifle him in.

Wonder if the inaugural address sent shivers up his spine he is a real nut case ..Obama really has come out and showed his colors now ...that was a really left wing speech ...
